Read More	Kale Funeral Home Osceola, Iowa William "Bill" Fredrick Werner, son of Arthur Samuel Werner and Eva Mae Stewart, was born October 24, 1931 in Shannon City, Iowa and passed from this life Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at his home in Luther, Oklahoma at 87 years of age. Bill grew up in the Shannon City, Afton and Arispie area. He graduated from Arispie High School. Bill was married to Lois Homewood and seven children blessed this union, Phil, Joe, Tom, Barbara, David, Rose and Deb. Bill was a hard working father. He enjoyed farming and raising dogs. He also worked heavy equipment, drove a truck and worked for the Oklahoma City Waste Water Treatment Plant where he retired. Bill married Alberta Louise Graham and they lived in Iowa before moving to Arkansas in the late 70s and then to Luther Oklahoma in the late 80s. Following Alberta's death, Bill remained in Luther, Oklahoma where he met his friend Barbie Hall. Those relatives who preceded Bill in death were his parents, Arthur and Eva, infant daughter, Barbara Werner, wife, Alberta Werner, 1st wife, Lois Homewood; step-son, Merlyn Graham, and special friend, Barbie Hall. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, April 25, 2019 at the Murray Cemetery in Murray, Iowa. Memorial contributions may be directed to his family for a fitting tribute to be decided later.
