Mr. Howard was born on June 6, 1931, in Galdia, Kentucky. He was the son of Wilse and Syntha (Scutchfield) Howard. On January 21, 1952, he was married in Knox, Indiana to Pauline Joan Bau. Pauline preceded William in death on January 21, 2013. He was a carpenter, business owner, and avid gardener. He would spend countless hours in his garden and tending his livestock. He loved arrowhead and mushroom hunting as well as bird watching, but was the happiest when started a new project or visiting his friends. Pigeon never met a stranger. He was an active member of English Lake Church. He is preceded in death by Pauline Howard (wife), Dexter (Dot) Howard (brother), James Howard (brother), Earl (Shirley) Howard (brother), Dorothy (Paul) Childers (sister), Paula Radtke (daughter), Janie Howard (daughter), and Kylie Radtke (great granddaughter). Survived by: Betty Howard (sister-in-law), Barb (Kenny) Walters (sister-in-law), Mary Schrombeck (sister-in-law), Margaret Bostain (sister-in-law), Dick (Ruth) Bau (brother-in-law), John Wagner (brother-in-law), Pete (Debbie) Bau (brother-in-law), Ed Bau (brother-in-law), Kathy (Robert) Benesh (daughter), Billy (Sue) Howard (son), Tommy Howard (son), Jody and Greg Moore (daughter), Doug Radtke (son-in-law); and many grandchildren.
