Robinson, was born December 10, 1860 on a farm a few miles north of Altoona. His en- ire life was spent in this community. Mr. and Mrs. Robinson began earths pilgrimage together on the farm on which Mr. Robinson was born. In 901 they moved to the present home where they remained until Mrs. Robin- son was called beyond. There was born to this union one child, Russell, and since his wife death Mr. Robinson has made his home with his son and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Rob- inson. Mr. Robinson was a member of the Masonic, Eastern Star and Modern Woodman orders. He exer- cised his belief of fraternalism through these orders. In 1892 Mr. Robinson united with the Church of Christ at Altoona, upon moving to his ship in the church at Bondurant. He present home he placed his member- remained a member of this church un- til beckoned to his eternal home. Dur- ing these 29 years while he was a member of this church he served it continuously as a deacon, and he ser- ved it well. In the words of a long standing friend and brother in the church, "Mr. Robinson could always be depended upon to serve in what- ever capacity he was able." Mr. Robinson was a member of many civil and business institutions. The summons, to lay down earths career and join his loved ones in the eternal home, came to Mr. Robinson at 1:15 July 23. He had attained the age of 69 years 7 months and 13 days Of his immediate relatives he leaves behind his son and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Robinson, a granddaugh- ter Maxine Robinson all of Bondurant and a half sister Mrs. Royina Leach of Paton Iowa. There are several distant relatives and a host of friends We all realize that a friend and loved one has left us, and this causes our hearts to sorrow but we rejoice that he has gone where we may follow. The funeral services were held Fri- day afternoon July 25, 1930 from the Church of Christ, being conducted by the pastor Rev. Sawyer, after which the remains were laid to rest beside his wife in the Altoona ceme- tery.
