Description	:	William Gale, brief mention of whose death was made in the last issue of this paper, was one of the pioneer residents of Plymouth county coming to this section m 1874. He was a native of Ireland where he was born eighty-seven years ago. In 1854 he left his native land and came to New York where be lived for several years, and where he was united in marriage with Miss Mary Groghan. Read More	William Gale, brief mention of whose death was made in the last issue of this paper, was one of the pioneer residents of Plymouth county coming to this section m 1874. He was a native of Ireland where he was born eighty-seven years ago. In 1854 he left his native land and came to New York where be lived for several years, and where he was united in marriage with Miss Mary Groghan. They subsequently moved to Galena, Ill., and later to Plymouth county. Five children were born to them. Two of the children and his wife preceded him to the grave. He leaves three sons who reside in this county, James, who lives in Westfield township and John and William who live in Preston township. Although he had attained a great age he preserved his faculties to the last and enjoyed good health. He caught cold about two weeks ago and other complications arose which terminated in death. The funeral was held on Monday at St. James church Rev. Father O'Farrell officiating and was largely attended by old friends and neighbors by whom the deceased was held in great esteem and respect.
