Description	:	William H. Schroer, 75, funeral service were held Thursday at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran church with burial in Lutheran cemetery adjoining the church. He died Monday at the home of his daughter Mrs. William Mosel. He was born Dec. 5, 1864 at Westphalen, Germany to Henry and Caroline (Trenepohl) Schroer. He came to the United States at the age of 19, locating near Clearwater. Later he homesteaded near Chambers where he resided for 12 years. He was married on April 22, 1897 to Miss Dorothea Koester at Chambers. They had 7 sons and daughters, 3 of whom died in infancy and 1 son died in 1919 at the age of 19. He was survived by his wife, 3 daughters: Mrs. William Mosel at Orchard, Mrs. Stanley Carlson at Clearwater, Mrs. Louis Rabbass at Ewing; 10 grandchildren.
