Turner, 73, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2020 at McLeod Regional Medical Center after an illness. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Reedy Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery directed by Richardson Funeral Home. Due to the Covid-19 Virus, the service inside the church is for family only. The graveside portion will be open to the public, we ask that social distancing guidelines be observed. He was retired from Pee Dee Electric Co-Op and was a long-time member of Reedy Creek Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and playing golf. Surviving are his wife, Bertie Hodge Turner of the home; son, Matt Turner (Jessica) of Marion; daughter, Jennifer Turner of Marion; two brothers, L. D Dimery (Cathy) and Winford J. Turner; four sisters, Flora Jean Turner, Thelma Gray, Vera Turner and Esther Jacobs; and 1 grandchild. - Richardson Funeral Home
