Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the First Methodist Church in Nevada with the Rev. Steve Williams officiating. Burial be in Evergreen Memory Gardens in rural Nevada. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He is survived by one daughter, Connie Hand of Nevada; one sister, Margaret Brooks of Nevada; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife and two sisters. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Thursday at Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. A memorial fund has been established.
