| Description | : | William Harold Lentz, 85, of Salisbury, died Thursday (Jan. 31, 2002), at Rowan Regional Medical Center. Born April 7, 1916, in Salisbury, Mr. Lentz was the son of the late William Lindsey Lentz and Etta Crook. Educated in Rowan County Schools, he retired from Southern Railways after more than 30 years as a clerk. He was an avid gardner. Son Eddie Paul Lentz died Jan. 1, 2000. Survivors include wife Opal Webster Lentz, Salisbury; sister Francis Bradshaw, Salisbury; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
