Description	:	Marshall Mountain Wave - Friday, November 5, 1915 News was received in Marshall yesterday afternoon of the death of W. H. Barnett at his father's home near Gilbert. Death occurred about 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon Oct 28. Mr. Barnett had be in very bad health for several months, and his friends have had no hope for his recovery for several weeks. Mr. Barnett was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Barnett and was 25 years old. He was born and raised near Gilbert, and was one of the best young men in the county. For several months he served as deputy clerk under Wilse Stephenson, but had to retire from his work on account of ill health. At the time of his death he was chairman of the Republican County Central Committee of Searcy County. Mr. Barnett was highly esteemed as a citizen, everybody being his friend. His untimely death is mourned by a host of relatives and staunch friends. Marshall Repullican Oct. 29
