Read More	Johnson County Courier Sterling, Johnson Co., Nebraska William Rowe Died At Pineville, Missouri Word was received by relatives and friends in Sterling Saturday that William Rowe had passed away June 27, 1958 in Pineville, Mo., at the age of 60 years, 4 months and 10 days. Sympathy is extended to those who mourn his passing. William Henry Rowe, son of Charles M. Rowe and Eva Borland Rowe, was born Febr. 17, 1898 in Sterling, Nebr. He was reared in Sterling and made this place his home until 1940, when he moved to Cook, Nebr., and after that located at Goodman, Mo., where he had resided the past 12 years except for visits in Albuquerque, New Mexico. On Febr. 10, 1918 he married Lucy Olive Rumming in Burlington, Colo. Mrs. Rowe survives her husband, and there are also two sons and five daughters: Marion H. and William W. Rowe of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Mrs. Nelson Kress and Mrs. Lloyd Crawford of Wichita, Kans., Mrs. Eugene Robertson, Mrs. Herman Moore and Miss Gene Rowe, all residing in Missouri. There are also 11 grandchildren. Mr. Rowe was a mechanic by trade and was a skilled workman. He was a man of pleasant disposition and had a wide circle of friends. Services will be held in the cemetery at Sterling, Nebr., Sunday afternoon, July 6, at 2:00 o'clock. Pastor A. G. Langholz of St. John American Lutheran church will officiate.
