Description	:	Dingle--Died December 1st, 1892, William Henry, twelve years of age, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Dingle. When about four years of age his mother missed him for about half an hour. When found she asked him where he had been? He said, "Out in the woods at prayer." When six years old he was deeply impressed by a sermon preached by Brother J. S. Beasley, of the South Carolina Conference, from the text: "The Lord called, 'Samuel!' and he answered, 'Here am I.'" and from this time was a consecrated Christian. Constitutionally frail... Constitutionally frail and nervous, he shrank from strangers, even when they were children of his own age, not from selfishness, but from a natural timidity, so that only those who had daily association with him understood him and appreciated his purity. His love of truth was beautiful and his choice selection in reading the Bible was the fifth chapter of St. Matthew -- especially the words: "Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God." His humble, modest appreciation of any kindness bestowed was beautiful. A smile, a word of commendation, fully compensated, for hours of hard study. His mind was of a high order and matured above his years, and his face would grow brighter and brighter when he would grasp some new idea or solve some difficult problem. This pale and beautiful flower was too delicate for this rough earth and God transplanted it to a more congenial clime, where there is no scorching sun or Winter's cold. Henry M.
