When he retired from that company he went into commercial real state and worked for Volunteer Realty in Knoxville in the East Tennessee area. He owned his own business, Southeast Sunbelt Business Brokerage Company. He was preceded in death by parents Bonnie James Ellison and Charles Dewey Ellison Sr. of Speedwell and brother Charles Dewey Ellison Jr. of Clarksburg,West Va. He is survived by wife Marjorie Pierce Ellison; son [Living] and daughter [Living]; two grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 12 at the Ellison Cemetery, 295 Ellison Lane, Speedwell. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the WellSprings United Methodist Church, 168 Well Road, LaFollette, Tenn., 37766 in memory of William H. Ellison. Masonic services were held Tuesday, Jan. 7 at Walters Funeral Home, conducted by Valley Star Lodge #577 F&AM. Walters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
