Description	:	OBIT: William H. Engel, 73, died April 11 at Bernath Nursing Home. He was born September 8, 1896 in Gordon, Nebraska. He was married to Pearl Fish, October 6, 1924 in Gordon. They moved to Ellensburg in 1943 where he managed the farm operation at the Bar 14 Ranch for 14 years. He was later employed by Webb Tractor and Equipment Co. until his retirement in 1968. He is survived by his wife, Pearl, of the family home, 209 Elliot; three sons, Robert, Mountlake Terrace, William in the Navy in Virginia; Thomas in the Navy in Seattle; three daughters, Mrs. Lester Kling, Gordon, Nebraska; Mrs. Fred Scott, Vancouver, Washington; and Mrs. Buck Minor, Ellensburg; 23 grandchildren, one great granddaughter; a brother Lewis of Ellensburg; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Smith, Ellensburg and Mrs. Martha Benson, Gordon, Nebraska. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday at Evenson Chapel with the Rev. Roland Wittrock officiating; burial will follow in High Valley Memorial Gardens.
