Description	:	PIONEER BUTCHER DIES. William H. Hobbs, Aged 71, Succumbs to Diabetes. William H. Hobbs, 71 years old, believed to have been Sioux City's first butcher, died of diabetes yesterday morning at the Methodist hospital. He had been a resident of Sioux City for fifty-one years, moving here at the age of 20 from Toronto, Can. where he was born. Mr. Hobb's [sic] first meat market was at Fourth and Jones streets. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Charles Butler, of Omaha; a nephew, James Hobbs, with whom he made his home, and a niece, Mrs. Sam Stebbins. The funeral will be held Sunday...
