Mitchell, aged 69, pioneer resident of Centralia, passed away this morning at his home, 402 South State, following a stroke. Mitchell, aged 69, pioneer resident of Centralia, passed away this morning at his home, 402 South State, following a stroke. Mr. Mitchell, born at Provo, Utah, on November 17, 1865, came to Centralia from Utah by covered wagon in 1890. At the time of his death he was president of the Centralia Pioneer's association. Surviving the deceased are his wife, Jennie; daughter, Mrs. Paul Savage, Centralia, and two brothers, Fred, Centralia, and John, Olympia. Seven grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the chapel of Sticklin and Sons. Rev. N. M. Jones will officiate, ??? by Rev. Marton McQuery, and Interment will be at Greenwood.
