Born in York County, he was the son of the late Ellsworth and Sevilla Baumgardner Wildasin. He was a member of St. Paul's (Dub's) Lutheran Church and Sunday School, the class taught by Allen Bollinger, the cemetery board and the AARP. Also surviving are two foster daughters, Mrs. Ima Flemmens, 998 Baer Ave., and Mrs. Annie Myers, Hanover RD 2; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and three sisters, Annie Noel, New Oxford RD; Sarah Sponseller, Baer Avenue, and Edna Moul, Hanover RD 1. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the St. Paul's (Dub's) Church, with the Rev. David Howel and Rev. Harvey M. Light officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery. York Daily Record, Tuesday August 7, 1973 'Surrey Ride' Given Anniversary Celebrants HANOVER - A five-mile surrey ride from their home, 1409 Baltimore St., to St. Paul's (Dub's) Union Church grove, highlighted the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Wildasin. The couple was surprised by the 150 relatives and friends who attended the anniversary celebration. E. G. Fraley served as master of ceremonies for the program that included invocation by the Rev. Harvey M. Light, United Church of Christ minister, and remarks by the Rev. David Howells, the Lutheran pastor, at Dub's Church. Mrs. Amy Hartman gave a Dutch dialect reading and Mrs. Carol Volland spoke briefly, presenting Mr. and Mrs. Wildasin a book of memories and a money tree. The couple was married July 8, 1923, in the Reformed parsonage by the late Rev. J. H. Hartman. The party was arranged by three nieces of the couple, Mrs. Malden Flemmens and Mrs. Annie Myers, of Hanover, and Mrs. Arlene Markel, 605 Yale St., York.
