Description	:	A very unexpected death in the Wright community was that of W.H. Wright, who had spent all his life in or near Wright. He had not been ill, and had only spoken casually about not feeling well during the day Sunday. William Howard Wright was born in Mahaska County near Wright May 7, 1872, the son of William and Sadie McCowan Wright. He grew up in the Wright community, and on Jan. 20th 1897 was United in marriage to Leota Ball. She passed away July 29, 1942. One son, Roy H., also preceded him in death. On October 10, 1943, he married Mrs. Molly Bond, who survives. He was a retired farmer, and had been living for a number of years in the town of Wright. Other survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Karl Tennis of Oskaloosa route 4 and Mrs. Harlin Witt of Fremont route. One son, Ralph of Oskaloosa route 4, five grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Walter Gray of Oskaloosa route 1, and Mrs. Gale Richards of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania. The body was taken to the residence Monday evening from the Fremont funeral home. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Wright Union church, in charge of Rev. Nelson Murdock, assisted by Rev.
