A 1955 graduate of St. Joseph High School and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force from 1956- 1960, he began his career with National Seal, Van Wert, as a data processing manager. He then worked with Federal-Mogul, Southfield, MI, as manager of the Bearing Group. He also worked at N.T.N. Bower, Birmingham, MI, as M.I.S. Director. He retired in 1991 and moved back to Wapak in 1994. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapak. His other memberships included the V.F.W. Post #8445, Amvets Post #333, the American Legion Post #330, and the K of C, Council #1272, all of Wapak. He was a quiet and private person. He was an avid reader and enjoyed doing the daily Sudoku puzzle. He also enjoyed visiting the local clubs and spending time with his family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapak, with Rev. Patrick Sloneker officiating. Burial of his cremains will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Wapak, where military rites will be conducted by Wapakoneta V.F.W. Post #8445.
