Description	:	Howells Journal - March 3, 1983 Services were at 10:30am Friday at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Howells for William Molacek, 85, a Resident of the Parkview Nursing HOme in Dodge and formerly of Howells. Father Thomas DeBacker and Father John Beacom officiated with burial at the Parish Cemetery. Visitation was 2:30 to 9pm Thursday at the Humlicek Funeral Home in Howells where there was a 8pm rosary by the Knights of Columbus and an 8:30 pm rosary by the public. The son of Joseph and Barbara Shonka Molacek, he was born August 30, 1897 at Howells and died Tuesday, February 22, at the Parkview HOme following a long illness. He attended Howells Public Schools. On November 9, 1931, he and Stella Dlouhy were married at Omaha. the couple farmed for a short time before moving to Howells where he was employed by the Howells Lumber co. and the Mobil Oil Station until retirement. Mr Molacek was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Catholic Workman Lodge and the Knights of columbus. He served fro 54 years on the Howells Volunteer Fire Department. Survivors include his wife, three sons, Dr. Marvin of San Diego Calif, Dean of Valencia California and Gary of Omaha. Two daughters Mrs Richard (Ann Marie) Gasper of Omaha and Mrs Joe(Patricia) Brown of St. Louis MO; and 18 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by six brothers, Emil, Frank, James, Rudolph, and Joseph; four sisters Anna Karel, Marie Dudycha, Lucy Karnik, and Barbara Drahota who passes away February 21, 1983. Pallbearers wer Joe Janata, Dave Eurek, William Cakl, James Vrba, Lambert Karel and Leander Brester.
