Description	:	William J. Dusty of Waterville and formerly of Buffalo, N.Y., passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2005, at his apartment at Park Residences with his niece, Anne, at his side. He was born in Waterville on July 24, 1912, and was the son of William and Olivine (Bisson) Dusty. He graduated from Waterville High School and went to North Carolina State on a football scholarship. He graduated in 1936 as aeronautical engineer. He was married in 1939 to Evelyn Honeycutt. He was born in Waterville on July 24, 1912, and was the son of William and Olivine (Bisson) Dusty. He graduated from Waterville High School and went to North Carolina State on a football scholarship. He graduated in 1936 as aeronautical engineer. He was married in 1939 to Evelyn Honeycutt. They moved to Buffalo, where he was employed by Bell Aerospace and was a project manager for the 1969 "Man on the Moon Mission." He retired in 1977. He became an avid golfer and bowler and won several golf club championships while in New York. He moved back to Waterville in 1997 after the death of his wife to be close to his two sisters and their families. He was predeceased by his sisters, Helen Dusty and Mrs. Juliette Bourassa, and his brothers, Jerome and Vede Dusty, and his faithful dog, Kippy. He is survived by his sisters-in-law, Mrs. Virginia Dusty of Waterville and Mrs. Elise Honeycutt of North Carolina; his cousin, Doris Turcotte, of Skowhegan; and his loving niece and caregiver, Anne Bourassa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews from Maine, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Florida and Washington. Interment will be at the St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Waterville.
