"Bill" Henry, 78, a former custodian at East Grade School in Cozad, died Tuesday, 7 August, 1990. He was born 14 March 1912, in Holt County to Charles and Rosa Dungan Henry and grew up in the Custer County area. He married Mary Day 27 June 1933. They moved to the Cozad area in the late 1930's. She died in 1979. Mr Henry worked at Dawson County Implement and the alfalfa mills for several years. He retired from the school after 15 years in 1977. He married Grace Kasson on 23 November 1984. Survivors include his wife, Grace of Cozad; two sons and their wives, Kenneth and Dorothy of Cozad and Virgil and Myra of Norman, Oklahoma; a stepson, Larry Kasson of Cozad, a brother and his wife Daniel Sr and Evelyn of Cozad and three sisters, Marie Price of Callaway, Estella Hornback of O'Neill and Rhoda Kraft of Wyoming; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandsons. Also preceding him in death were two sons, Jerry and Norman Gene, a brother and a sister. Services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel with J.D. Barnett of the Northside Church of Christ of Lexington officiating. Burial will be in the Cozad Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
