Lindaman, prominent German township farmer, died very suddenly on Saturday morning, January 12 at about 9:30. He had been in apparent good health up to that day, but had complained of not feeling as well as usual that morning. When he did not come in to the house at the time Mrs. Lindaman expected him, she went to look for him and found him lying in the barn. He had apparently died almost instantly of a heart attack. He was one of the twelve children of Jacob and Kate Lindaman, and was born October 12, 1904, in Grundy county. Here he grew to young manhood in the parental home and on December 26, 1928, he and Cornelia Engelke were married. They lived on their farm in German township until his death. Mr. Lindaman was a faithful member of the East Friesland Presbyterian church, which he joined December 2, 1928. He served as deacon for three years. He is survived by his wife; and five children, Harold, at home, Donald, of Cedar Falls, Robert, Ruth and Rosemary, at home. Also surviving are his mother-in-law, Mrs. Pauline Engelke, who lives near the Lindamans; four sisters, Mrs. Martha Akkerman of Wellsburg, Mrs. Lena VanLoh of Aplington, Mrs. Louie VanLoh (Kate) of Wellsburg and Mrs. Peter Klinkenberg (Nannie) of Aplington; three brothers, Hei, John and Jake Lindaman of Wellsburg. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. Funeral services were held at 1:15 at the home and at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon at the East Friesland Church with the Rev.
