Elizabeth never remarried and was buried as a Carlisle, but had 6 children with John Roberts from 1827-1844 1828 Resided at Bathurst Street, Sydney, with sons James and John. 1831 Resided at Cambridge Street, Sydney. 1844 Resided at Rylstone as a tutor to the Nevell children on 'Carwell', the family property of his friend James Vincent. William remained at Carwell until his death and is buried on the property.
