He married Margaret Mahoney in 1902 at Bruno, Nebraska. Shortly after they moved to Palmyra, Otoe County Nebraska. Many of Margaret's brothers made the move to Palmyra around the same time and lived near William and Margaret. Margaret died in Omaha in 1914 when their son Bill was just twelve years old. His brother Thomas Beecham also lived near Palmyra. William was known around Palmyra as Uncle Billy by his nieces and nephews and also...
