Chico Record, Friday Morning, February 16, 1906, pg 8 col 3: Aged Man Dies At Richardson Springs. Dr. Havey was called to Richardson Springs last evening to treat an aged man named William Kearton Aldersley, who came to that place Tuesday last suffering from pneumonia. Aldersley had been at Tonopah, Nevada, when stricken, and under the advice of his physician came to the springs. When Dr. Harvey had arrived at the springs, life had become extinct. Aldersley was a resident of Napa, where he has two sons, Edgar and Elbert. He was aged about 70 years. He was a member of Napa Lodge of Odd Fellows, and it is likely that his remains will be shipped to that place for interment. 70-year-old William K. Aldersley was interred, per the Chico Cemetery Association Records, in the plot noted, on February 17, 1906 (there is no marker).
