Dusenbery Is Dead: Burial Here Former Washington Man Victim of Heart Attack at Home in Flint, Michigan. Funeral services for W.L. Dusenbery, 68, of Flint Mich., will be held at two o'clock Thursday afternoon at Sherman's funeral home. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery. Mr. Dusenbery, a brother of Mrs. Ted Dalton and Lee Dusenbery, died yesterday afternoon at 12:30 at his home in Flint following a heart attack which he had suffered the previous Tuesday. He had been subject to heart attacks the past few years. W.L. Dusenbery was born Dec. 19, 1874, in Washington County, a son of Mr. and Mrs. A. I. Dusenbery. The family home was here for many years, and Mr. Dusenbery had a photograph studio on the east side of the square until he moved to Flint 18 years ago. He has been employed those 18 years in the factory of the Buick Motor Company which is now making parts for airlines. He was married to Mattie Stephens of Richland and they were the parents of a son, Laird, who lives now in Flint. She died in 1913 and is buried in Elm Grove Cemetery. In 1921 he was married to Pearl Johnson, who survives. Surviving are the widow, a son, Laird, and adopted daughter , Jean, two grandsons, all of Flint, Mich., a stepson, William Dusenbery of San Diego, Calif., three brothers, Lee of Washington, Homer of Keota and Earl of Davenport and a sister, Mrs. Ted Dalton. The funeral party will arrive here on the afternoon train tomorrow, and the body will be taken to Sherman's funeral home. Washington Evening Journal, July 13, 1942
