Description	:	Obituary: Mr. W. Luke Mills, 61, died at his home in Black Jack Wednesday morning at 9:30 following two years of critical illness. Funeral services will be conducted at the Black Jack Free Will Baptist Church Friday afternoon at 2:30 by his pastor, the Rev. Floyd B. Cherry, assisted by the Rev. David E. Smith pastor of the Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will be in Pinewood Memorial Park. The body will be taken from the home to the church one hour prior to the time of services. Mr. Mills, son of the late Henry Robert and Hattie Mills, was born in Beaufort County and came to Black Jack to live at an early age. He was a member of the Black Jack Free Will Baptist Church and was a farmer. Surviving are his wife, the former Allie Hardee, to whom he was married in 1922; six sons, William L. and Aljerice (Jay) Mills of Baltimore, Maryland, Henry R. Mills of the U.S. Army now stationed at Addison, Ill., Virgil G., Harry D., and Herbert I. Mills, all of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Styron Whichard of Norfolk. Va.,, Mrs. G. Frankie Rouse of Washington, Mrs. Richard Hollowell and Miss Janice Hardee Mills of Norfolk, Va.; four grandchildren ; a brother, Tucker Z. Mills of Cove City; two sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Mills and Mrs. Roy L. Hardee of Greenville; and three half sisters, Mrs. Talmadge Bolen of Florence S.C., Mrs Ray Yarbourough of Temmonsville, S.C. and Mrs. Max Hall of Chicago, Ill.
