Bosworth two years, and Beckenridge & Co. ten years. He was married to Miss Effie MURRISON of Brooklyn, 26 November 1908. Mrs. McGregor, two brothers, one in Chicago and one in Newton and two sisters one in South Dakota and one in Newton with their families survive him. He was a loyal active member of the Presbyterian Church, a teacher of a class of boys in the Sabbath School. Indeed he had been engaged in the good work of the Master from early manhood. He was also a worthy and honored member of the Masonic Order. The members of the lodge being present at the funeral service and by their presence expressed their sympathy for the friend and testified to their appreciation of his fellowship, and also to conduct after the manner of their order, the burial service. The funeral services were conducted at the M. E. church by Rev. S.E. Koons pastor of the Presbyterian church, assisted by Rev. F.C. Edwards, and attended by a large number of friends and companions who were witness to the high esteem in which he was held by all who knew him, everybody liked "McGregor".
