Description	:	The Review is in receipt of a letter from Mrs. S. Horr of Deloit, who has been spending the past few months in Thunder Hawk, S. D., telling of the death of Mr. William Martin McKim, who died at his home near Thunder Hawk, August 16, 1916. The parents of the deceased were William and Almedia McKim, who were among the pioneer settlers of Crawford county and who will be remembered by a very large number of people in Crawford county. Horr of Deloit, who has been spending the past few months in Thunder Hawk, S. D., telling of the death of Mr. William Martin McKim, who died at his home near Thunder Hawk, August 16, 1916. The parents of the deceased were William and Almedia McKim, who were among the pioneer settlers of Crawford county and who will be remembered by a very large number of people in Crawford county. Mr. McKim had been in poor health for several months, but the immediate cause of his death was a serious case of appendicitis, with which he was taken ill but a few days before his death. The deceased was born April 4, 1860, at Deloit, Ia., and was fifty-six years, four months, twelve days old at the time of his death. He was unmarried and resided with his brother, George and family, with whom he has been a partner in business for several years. They moved from Wisconsin to Perkins county, S. D. nearly ten years ago. By his kind acts and loving deeds, he had won the esteem of all who knew him and he was a special favorite with his nieces and nephews as a reward for the love and interest which he manifested on their behalf. He leaves to mourn his demise, his parents, William and Almedia McKim of Thunder Hawk, seven brothers and five sisters, namely: Frank of Ida Grove, Albert of Deloit, George, Walter, Claude, John and Robert, all of Thunder Hawk, Miss Abbie McKim of Thunder Hawk, Mrs. Blanche Mennis of Kansas City, Mrs. Oliver Pitcher of Zion City, Ill; Mrs. Bessie Hansen of Los Angeles, Cal.; and Mrs. Maud Pulaski of Washington, D. C. Two sisters and one brother died in infancy. A few days before his death, Mr. McKim enjoyed a visit from his brother, Albert, who arrived at his home in time to spend a few pleasant days with his brother. Funeral services were held at the home in Thunder Hawk, on Friday, August 18, Elder Bishop preaching the sermon and the remains were tenderly laid to rest in the Lemmon cemetery.
