He is survived by two sons, Thomas of Farmer and Roy of Mansfield, and four daughters, Mrs. Fay Zude, Mrs. H. B. Richardson, and Mrs. Ernest Hylton all of Wenatchee, and Mrs. Ed Paul of Ephrata. Funeral services for William Newton Wise, 83, of East Wenatchee will be held from the Jones & Jones chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Henry Tewell officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen cemetery. Mrs. Wise pioneer resident of the Big Bend, died Thursday morning in a local hospital from injuries received from a fall at his home in East Wenatchee last Monday. He was born Feb. 24, 1850 at Spring Mills, Penn. He moved to Carthage, Mo., where he married Marietta Moss in 1890, and lived there until 190 when he moved to Washington where he homesteaded in Douglas county, east of Waterville. He came to Wenatchee three years ago where he has since resided. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Surviving are his widow; and sons, Thomas Wise of Farmer, Wash., and Roy A Wise of Mansfield; four daughters, Mrs. Faye Zude, and Mrs. Fern Hylton of Wenatchee, Mrs. Mable Richardson of East Wenatchee and Mrs. Alice Paul of Ephrata, three brothers and three sisters in Pennsylvania; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
