Description	:	GOMER — William Noble Thomas, Elida, age 69, passed away October 25th, 2018 after a battle with cancer. Born in Gomer, Ohio, the son of Noble and Shirley Thomas, Bill Graduated from Gomer High School and Hocking Tech. Bill worked as a carpenter early in his career before spending 30 years with Ford Motor Company at the Lima Engine Plant. Bill was a proud father to his three boys and their spouses; Peter Thomas (Angela), Evan Thomas (Brelyn); and Mark Thomas (Erin). Bill was a proud father to his three boys and their spouses; Peter Thomas (Angela), Evan Thomas (Brelyn); and Mark Thomas (Erin). He was also an honored grandfather to his seven grandchildren; Marissa, Addison, Sophia, Nolan, Cohen, Avery, and Nora. Bill was also survived by his two sisters; Susan Sarber (John) and Linda Fay (Mike), as wells as his niece and nephews. Bill was an avid outdoorsman spending any free time he had shooting, hunting, or fishing not only in Ohio but across the country. Friends will always remember his handle "Wild Bill" over the radio when out hunting fox or coyote. A celebration of Bill's life will be held at the Delphos VFW (213 W 4th St, Delphos, OH 45833) on November 2nd from 4:00pm -8:00pm, family and friends are welcome to attend. A brief prayer service will take place around 6:30pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - The James Fund For Life () or The Second Amendment Foundation (www.saf.org/donation-page ). These organizations either helped his through his journey or embodied what he stood for. Services are entrusted to CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL CREMATION SERVICES.
