Description	:	William was the son of James Crawford Oliver and Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Phillips. An article in the Asheville Citizen-Times, dated 28 Jul 1928, page 1, reports that William would die of Typhoid Fever as a result of his parents, who were persuaded by the Rev. H. S. Reed, a Holiness Preacher from Oklahoma, by their refusal to provide medical treatment for the child because of their religious beliefs. The three were later indicted for murder in this case and scheduled for trial. William was age 3-years, 11-months, 8-days. *************** Thanks to eammons for the info.
