Raven Union Church The old log church that stands near the community of Raven 30 miles west of Innisfail on Highway 54, is not an ordinary church.The decor is not fancy and the atmosphere is informal.Situated in the quiet countryside it calls to the mind the traditional hymns of our pioneer ancestors. There is something special about the woodland setting and atmosphere that makes it very different. In 1925 the men of the Community cut logs and prepared them for the construction of the church.In 1926 Preston Berry (William's Brother) from Jasper Alberta was asked to supervise the work and there was splendid co-operation by everyone that it was build with the understanding that any denomination may use it.The doors are always open and visitors from across the globe often stop by for a visit. Mount Berry 83F/3-Cadomin 7-47-24-W5 53°03'N 117°30'W Approximarely 93km (55 miles) South - West of Edson Alberta.This mountain which is at 2345 meters (7,692 Feet)altitude was officially named in 1961 by W.H.
