Mr. Wilson was known here, at Gilman, and elsewhere in Iowa. His home was near Richfield, Kansas, but he died in a sanatorium at Cedar Rapids Tuesday night of ulceration of the liver, stomach, and bowels. Mrs. Goldie Wilson, the widow, and her sister Mrs. Bertha DeLamater and the latter's husband accompanied the body from Cedar Rapids to Gilman. For a time prior to about twenty years ago Mr. Wilson lived in this city while he was engaged in the grocery business. Since then he has lived at North English, Moravia, and in Kansas. Mr. Wilson was 46 years of age. He was born in Monroe County, Ohio, on July 19, 1865. He married Miss Goldie Greeley at Sigourney September, 28, 1904. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson were living on a claim near Richfield when Mr. Wilson became sick and was taken to Cedar Rapids for treatment. Six children survive him. They are Goldie and Oscar, who are in Cedar Rapids now; Roy, who is in Cuba; Earl and Nora, of Oelwein; and Blanche, of Iowa City. Four sisters, Mrs. Florence Grams, Richfield, Kansas; Mrs. Lucretta Jones, Iowa City; Mrs. Bertha DeLamater, Gilman; and Mrs. Malissa Shively, Salina, Kansas, also survive him. His mother, Mrs. Martha J. Green, lives at Gilman. The funeral was held from the Green home at 2 o'clock this afternoon. Burial was in the Gilman cemetery, where the I.O.O.F. Lodge had charge of the service.
