Description	:	William P. Mumaugh was a son of Conrad Muma & Barbara Lichliter. He married Sarah Rees on Apr 20, 1817 Fairfield County, Ohio. Sarah Rees -- 1796 Washington Co, Pennsylvania - May 16, 1876 Bath Twp, Allen Co, OH a dau of Morris Rees 44811664 and Caracy From the Allen County Democrat, Lima, Ohio, October 7, 1875: "William Mumaugh died at his residence in Allen County, on September 28th 1875, at one o’clock P.M., after a lingering illness of about eight months, having been partially paralized[sic], and for most of that time being entirely helpless and during his protracted... Sarah Rees -- 1796 Washington Co, Pennsylvania - May 16, 1876 Bath Twp, Allen Co, OH a dau of Morris Rees 44811664 and Caracy From the Allen County Democrat, Lima, Ohio, October 7, 1875: "William Mumaugh died at his residence in Allen County, on September 28th 1875, at one o’clock P.M., after a lingering illness of about eight months, having been partially paralized[sic], and for most of that time being entirely helpless and during his protracted illness he had the untiring attention and care of his devoted and loving wife, whose great labor, care and devotion to his every want required endurance and Christian duty which sustained her in the labor of love, yet with all her kindness and care, death was gradually approaching to claim his victim. "Father Mumaugh was born in Cumberland County, Maryland, March 4th, 1795, and emigrated with his father’s family to Miami County, Ohio in 1804; from thence removed to Fairfield County in the year 1808, and was joined in wedlock to Miss Sarah Reese, April 30th, 1817. In 1838 the deceased removed with his family to Allen County, and settled on the farm where he died, having raised a family of eleven children: eight sons and three daughters and all are now living except the youngest daughter, and all were present at his funeral with their families except one daughter, in Iowa, who was prevented by illness. "Over 58 years have been pleasantly passed together in the bands of matrimony. He united with the German Baptist Church a few years ago during which time he adorned his profession by his upright walk and chaste conversation. During his illness he expressed a strong desire to leave this world of sorry and be united with the blood-washed throng composing the family in heaven, feeling that the sufferings the present time were not among the sanctified. A very pleasant and impressive funeral sermon was preached by the Rev. Daniel Brower from Job 14."
