Believed to have lived in Henry Co, VA and Lincoln Co, KY before settling in Russel Co, KY. They were the first settlers on Parkes Ridge, Russel Co, KY. Buried there on farm owned by Finis Popplewell (1967). Finis Popplewell vowed to care for the burial area and that it could be fenced or whatever was needed to preserve the area.
