Description	:	Mr. William Paul Beverly, 89, passed away at his home Wednesday, May 3, 2017 following a brief illness. Born May 22, 1927 in Conway, Mr. Beverly was the son of the late Silas Dock Beverly and the late Adria Pope Beverly. Mr. Beverly was a member of First Baptist Church Conway and the Angler Sunday School Class. He worked for Palmetto Chevrolet for 25 years and after retirement was the owner and operator of Paul Beverly Body Shop. Mr. Beverly was deeply loved by his family and friends and all who knew him. Born May 22, 1927 in Conway, Mr. Beverly was the son of the late Silas Dock Beverly and the late Adria Pope Beverly. Mr. Beverly was a member of First Baptist Church Conway and the Angler Sunday School Class. He worked for Palmetto Chevrolet for 25 years and after retirement was the owner and operator of Paul Beverly Body Shop. Mr. Beverly was deeply loved by his family and friends and all who knew him. Mr. Beverly was predeceased by his wife, Willa Hardee Beverly; two sons, William C. "Bill" Beverly and Darrell Beverly; 6 sisters; and 4 brothers. Survivors include his daughters, Sara B. (Gordon) Harris of Conway and Carole B. (Stephen) Bailey of Whiteville, NC; his sister, Nina Beverly of Conway; his grandchildren, Beverly (Tad) Wilhelm, Stephen (Megan) Bailey, Matthew Bailey, Autumn (Matt) Martin, Taylor (Jill) Beverly, Josh Beverly, Phillip Wilson, Brianna Downey Beverly, and Cassidy Downey Beverly; and 10 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 3:00PM Sunday, May 7, 2017 at First Baptist Church Conway, officiated by Rev. Rocky Taylor and Rev. Stephen Bailey. Inurnment will follow at Pauley Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall from 2:00PM-3:00PM prior to the service. http://www.goldfinchfuneralhome.com
