Kobzeff, 51, a truck driver, was crushed to death at 7:45 o'clock last night when he was pinned between a trailer and a loading dock at the Associated Freight Lines Terminal at 180 South Parkway Drive. Compton told Deputy Coroner Richard Thomas he was putting a couple of cartons into the van when he heard a faint call for help. He saw Kobzeff pinned between the trailer and the dock facing the cock. Compton said he jumped out of the trailer, drove the truck forward and then called for an ambulance. Johnson said when the trailer was spotted against the loading dock, blocks were placed in front of the rear wheels. He said when Kobzeff drove the truck forward the wheels rode up on the blocks and then rolled back a moment after Kobzeff went behind the trailer. Johnson said the brakes on the truck apparently had not been set. Kobzeff lived at 1481 South Valentine Avenue. The Bragg Funeral Chapel in Kerman will announce the funeral arrangements. Burial will be in the Barstow Avenue Molokan Cemetery under the direction of John T. Bragg and Sons Chapel of Kerman. Kobzeff, born in Los Angeles, had lived in Fresno County 30 years. He was employed by Associated Freight Lines.
