Description	:	Father: Thomas Wilson Baird 1822-1901 Mother: Caroline Gilliland 1830-1913 Victor Baird, who left Feb. 1 for Council Bluffs, to be with his father, WP Baird, in his last illness, arrived home yesterday. His father died Monday, following an illness of several weeks from heart trouble. The remains were brought here for burial. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at the ME Church, Rev. ML Sanders preaching the funeral sermon. Interment will be made in Highland cemetery by the side of the wife and mother, who succumbed to the effects of a lingering illness about two months ago.... (Colville, Wash.), 13 Feb. 1915. ~~~...~~~...~~~...~~~ The funeral of WP Baird, who died Feb. 8 at Council Bluffs, Iowa, from heart trouble, was held Sunday afternoon at the ME church, conducted by Quinn W McCord, undertaker. THe funeral sermon was preached by the pastor, Rev. ML Sanders. Music was rendered by members of the church choir, Miss Maude Willett, Miss Laila Clayton, Miss Beulah Stayt, Ralph and Rolla Willett and Merle and Frank Starr, with Mrs. JC Harrigan at the piano. Burial was in Highland Cemetery by the side of the deceased's wife, who died Nov 22, 1915 (1914). Pallbearers were Al Miller, Chauncey St. Clair, Frank Kostka, Thos. Aspend, Ed Broezel and Wm. N Reynolds. THe eight children left to mourn both mother and father are Victor, Glenn, Vinton, Loraine, Eldo, Harold, Mary and Roy. The Colville examiner. (Colville, Wash.), 20 Feb. 1915
