| Description | : | Colfax Sentinel Sept 1, 1893 Friday Wm. Ragsdale, Jr., son of Wm. Ragsdale of Clipper Gap, died last Tuesday morning at about one o'clock. About two weeks ago, he went into the Bear River ditch to make some repairs and in doing so contracted a cold which developed into peritonitis. After suffering for over two weeks, he finally succumbed. Deceased was about 23 years of age, the only son, and a young man of exemplary habits and splendid character. The funeral took place at Auburn, Wednesday, under the auspices of Auburn Parlor, NSFW, and was very largely attended. |
