Brown Moore. He married Maxine Proctor August 18, 1946. A graduate of Ottumwa High School, he attended the Iowa Success School. He was the office manager of Roseman Brothers, and had owned and operated Rex Moore Tax Services for over 40 years, and had owned Wapello Realty from 1971 to 1994. William Rex Moore, 78, of 523 Leighton, died at 8:17 a.m. October 16, 2006, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center. He was born March 29, 1928 in Ottumwa to William A. and Mary M. Brown Moore. He married Maxine Proctor August 18, 1946. A graduate of Ottumwa High School, he attended the Iowa Success School. He was the office manager of Roseman Brothers, and had owned and operated Rex Moore Tax Services for over 40 years, and had owned Wapello Realty from 1971 to 1994. He was a member of First Pentecostal Assembly of God, presently serving as treasurer and board member. He served as Finance Commissioner for the City of Ottumwa for eight years. Surviving is his wife, Maxine; two daughters, Pam Borron of Chandler, AZ and Linda Moore of Gilbert, AZ; two sons, Bill Moore of Gilbert, AZ and Gary (Rita) Moore of Grapeland, TX; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at First Pentecostal Assembly of God with Rev. George Edgerly officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at Reece Funeral Home with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given to First Pentecostal Assembly of God.
