Description	:	William S. "Bill" Kennelley, 90, of Sandusky, passed away early Wednesday morning, January 4, 2012, at his daughters' home in Clyde. Born on June 21, 1921 in Warren, OH the son of the late William Franklin and Eva Marie (Woomer) Kennelley. He was a graduate of Mill Hall High School in Mill Hall, Pennsylvania. Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Army / Air Force having served during W.W. II and the Korean Conflict. He worked as a supervisor of instrumentation and experimental aviation at N.A.S.A. (Plumbrook Station), in Sandusky, retiring in 1974. Throughout the years he enjoyed woodworking, traveling and reading. Bill was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where he had been involved with the food pantry, served on the financial committee and helped with other activities within the church, life member of the V.F.W. Post # 2529 and a life member of the American Legion Post # 83. He is survived by two daughters, Sharla K. (Rod) McMaster of Clyde and Sharon R. (Fred) Fields of Miamisburg, OH; three grandchildren, Kimberly Fields, Greg (Jen) McMaster, Kristen (Jeremiah) Genson; three great-grandchildren, Grant, Donovan, Kennelley. Besides his parents, he also was preceded in death by his wife, LaMerle F. (Niceswanger) Kennelley (October 8, 1996), sister, Charlotte Petriskey; brother, Eugene Kennelley. At his request all services will be private. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. The Funeral Procession will be lead to the cemetery by the State of Ohio Chapter "Patriot Guard." Military Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post # 83 Honor Guard. The family requests that memorial contributions may be made to the Victory Temple Soup Kitchen, 1613 Hayes Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to Stein Hospice Service, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
