Rutherford and Joyce L. Lashbrooks, 3 sisters , Mrs. Jane Moss of Salem, Mrs. Emma Trabue and Rozella Durch of New Albany and a host of relatives and friends. He was a kind and devoted husband and father, a good neighbor ready to help in time of need and will be greatly missed in the neighborhood. He had been in poor health for several years, but grew worse 3 weeks ago. He bore the suffering with patience. He united with the Church Of Christ under the preaching of Elder Andy Smith and died in the faith of the promise of that eternal home at God's right hand.He was a farmer all his life and lived near his birth place. All that loving hands and medical skill could do was done to relieve him in his sufferings but he left us and passed away to that land of real.
