Mr. Switzer nearly 30 years of age leaves a wife and three small children, also an aged father, besides more distant relatives. He was the only child his father had in this country.... Mr. Switzer nearly 30 years of age leaves a wife and three small children, also an aged father, besides more distant relatives. He was the only child his father had in this country. Mrs. Switzer is in slender health and this sudden blow falls with special heaviness on her and the aged father whose wife died about years ago. The funeral services, conducted Rev. F.J. Douglass, were held at the house Monday afternoon. Very brief remarks were founded on Ps. 50:15 "Call upon me in the day of trouble, I will deliver theee and thou shalt glorify me." Mr. Switzer's remains were laid beside those of his mother in the Ames cemetery. Relatives in Nevada, who did not hear of the funeral soon enough to go to the home, came to Ames on the train and joined the procession here on its way to the cemetery. Mr. Switzer has been in poor health for some time. As a man and a friend he is highly spoken of by those who have known him.
