Description | : | William Tannahill was born in Ayrshire,Scotland and came to Huntingdon, Canada when he was 9 yrs. old. He married Janette White in Huntingdon. He came to Nashua, Iowa in 1855. He is listed as a charter member of the Little Brown Church. His oldest son, George, was the first baby to be baptized in the Little Brown Church. William was the first to enlist in Co.
