Description	:	Funeral services for William Theodore Bailey of Kansas City, Mo., whose death occurred at 8:25 p. m. Tuesday at his home, will be conducted at 2 p. m. Friday at the Fairbanks chapel. The Rev. M. L. Van Wagemen of the First Congregational church Will be in charge. Interment will be in Greenwood cemetery. The body of Mr. Bailey will arrive here at 4:45 p. m. today and will be taken to the Fairbanks Home for Funerals. W. and Emma White Bailey, he was born at Kirksville, Mo., on Nov. 6, 1900 and resided there until 14 Years of age. His marriage to Gladys Dulgar took place on April 2, 1927 at Council Bluffs, Mo. He was a graduate of the University of Iowa where he majored in science. Mr. Bailey was a member of the Congregational church at Kansas City, was a former member of the Rotary club, was a member of the Elks lodge at Council Bluffs and was superintendent of the municipal water plant at Kansas City. Surviving are his wife, his father, K. W. Bailey of Novinger, Mo., and the following brothers and sisters, Ross of Gibbs, Mo., Vernie and Oron of Green Castle, Mo., Homer of Durant, Virgil of south Iowa, Mrs. Harold Houseman of rural route No. 4, Muscatine, Mrs. E. E. Hall of Kirksville, Mo., Mrs. Arthur Ziegler of Thompson, Mo., Mrs. George Wallace of Novinger, Mo., and Mrs. Kenneth Walker of Green Castle, Mo. MUSCATINE JOURNAL, THURSDAY, JULY 20, 1944.
