Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Elizabeth "Lib" Ann Howard Mullinax and son of the late Carl Lewis Mullinax and Gladys Thompson Mullinax. Read More	Gaffney, SC - - William Thomas "Jabo" Mullinax, 76, of 907 McKown's Mountain Road, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at his residence. Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Elizabeth "Lib" Ann Howard Mullinax and son of the late Carl Lewis Mullinax and Gladys Thompson Mullinax. He retired from Cherokee Finishing and was a member of Draytonville Baptist Church. He loved his family, fishing, hunting and gardening. Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, Thomas Earl Mullinax of Gaffney; two daughters, Myra Elizabeth McCoy and Polly Mullinax, both of Gaffney; three brothers, John Amos Mullinax (Linda), Dean Mullinax and Jimmy Mullinax (Mary), all of Gaffney; three sisters, Idell Mullinax, Gloria Acrey and Betty Mullinax (Mitchell), all of Gaffney; three grandchildren, Lacey Ellison (Adam), Kasey Mullinax and Krystal Spencer (Brad); five great-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren on the way; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sally Mullinax and a brother, Paul Mullinax. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 PM at the Church with Reverend Tommy Wright and Reverend Stony Yearwood officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Ararat Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: DMW Volunteer Fire Department, 538 McKown's Mountain Road, Gaffney, SC 29340. The family will be at the home of Myra McCoy, 909 McKown's Mountain Road, Gaffney, SC 29340.
