William Miner Jr. married Mary Dungan in Stark Co. Minnesota July 4, 1878 . They were married for many years. Per Newspaper archives it was a Big Celebration and Double Wedding with Niece Cora A. Farmer Marriage to Fred Hopkins

** In Memory of William Wallace Miner Jr ** William was loved, missed and remembered forever in the hearts of all who loved him. William's Parents were Pioneers and early Settlers in America. They lived in at least several states. His Parents last move as Pioneers was to Iberia Stark Brown Co. Minnesota. The New Ulm Review, Brown County Historical Articles, much other publications were written about Williams Family and Parents. William's Father, William Sr. was a Civil War Veteran. Williams Marriage to Mary was featured in a 1878 article in the New Ulm MN Review. The Happy couple got married in the beautiful grove near his parents farm. It was a very well attended gala. It was a double wedding that day. William's Sister Lucinda Miner Farmer's daughter Cora Farmer married Fred Emmet Hopkins that same day. July 4, 1878. It was a great coverage of their wedding day. Iberia Stark Brown Co. MN was a new booming, thriving town. Williams Parents settled there. It was on the river, a growing community. William and Mary Miner lived in MN a while as they raised their family. At lease some of their Children were born in Minnesota. When the railroad got rerouted, jobs were lost, the Mill shut down, many who lived there, including William and Mary's Family eventually moved to North Dakota, elsewhere. Williams sister Lucinda Sarah Miner Farmer remarried to Mr. Baldwin after her spouse Sanford Farmer passed away unexpectedly. Lucinda's Daughter Cora Farmer Hopkins passed away from Tuberculosis (T.B.) in 1885. It is not known how many others became ill with T.B. at this time. Sister Lucinda Miner Farmer Baldwin and other Family moved to Washington State. Parents William Sr. and Sarah Miner lived in Iberia Stark Brown Co. MN the rest of their lives. Much documentation about William's Parents and Maternal Grandparents being Pioneers and early Settlers. William is survived by many relatives and friends in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, Washington, California, other areas around the USA.

William's Family has much interesting Family History. They were sited often as Pioneers. They were very hard working people with many successes. It appears much is family history available on line, the MN Historical Society, newspaper archives, other publications, many sources. The New Ulm Review in New Ulm MN did many articles about the family. The published 1882 Brown County Minnesota Valley history includes Biography information about Pioneer and Explorers, sites William Wallace Sr. Family included on LDS Family Search and Ancestry.com. There is conflicting data on some sites not supported by official data. ( place of births,etc)

Knapp. ( Olivet remarried to Adelbert in 1876 Adelbert was a farm laborer and well driller) Myra was age 10 yrs, no other children sited. Myra born in Iowa, Olivet born in New York.
Myra Miner now sited with Knapp surname. Not known if she was adopted. The History of Fillmore Co. MN historical biography referred to her as Mrs. Knapp's daughter. Myra had a brother Adelbert Clay Knapp born in 1877 in Illinois who passed away in infancy per the same biography.

Olivet Horton Miner remarried to Adelbert Clay Knapp in 1876. They lived in Fillmore Co. MN. Adelbert and Olivet Knapp are featured in the "The History of Fillmore County including Explorers and Pioneers. (page 358 online via google) Adelbert was a artisen well expert. Olivet was born in New York Dec. 1851. At the end of the detailed biography, it sites that Mrs. Olivet Knapp's Daughter Myra was born Jan. 1, 1870 in Albin Howard Co. Iowa.

Head of Household was Theodore Rohe, his spouse was Lora Rohe. The household included their children, three lodgers. Mary A. Miner 83 yrs old, born in Illinois Vera Miner 23 yrs born in Minnesota.

William E. Miner and parents Mary & William buried at the same North Dakota Cemetery. It appears they returned to North Dakota after Vera Miner Passed away in 1920. It is possible that Lucinda Dungan has a Memorial and is buried at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Stark Brown County Minnesota. There is a Memorial for Lusinda Duncan dod July 18, 1896. Headstone engraving, possibly due to age does appear as it could be a C versus a G. Memorial: 42384799 age 59 yrs 3 mo. 17 days at time of death which would be approx. 1837.
This is a match for family tree data for Lucinda Dungan. No official data found thus far to verify Duncan vs. Dungan for the exact dod.
