Read More	William Rodeback Is Laid to Rest RAYMOND — (HNS) — High tribute was shown by the numerous floral tokens and the large attendance of relatives and friends at the funeral service this week for the late William Rodeback at Raymond, held in the Second Ward LDS chapel under the direction of Bishop R. H. Dahl. Bishop Dahl mentioned this, saying the deceased was a highly respected citizen of the town and community, and would be greatly missed. Speakers included Elder C. R. Wing, president, of the High Priests Quorum of the Taylor Stake of which Mr. Rodeback was a member; Pres. A. E. Palmer of Lethbridge, who had been a close friend of Mr. Rodeback for many years, and who had been associated with him in the MIA at Raymond many years ago, and President J. H. Walker, who has been a neighbor to the family for more than 40 years. Speakers referred to the fine qualities of Mr. Rodeback and his friendliness to all people. He was a true friend to children, and many of the younger boys of the neighborhood carried the flowers as their last, tribute to their friend. They also spoke of his activity in church and community affairs. A good farmer and stockman, always took Pride in his well groomed horses. Mr. Rodeback came to Canada from Utah In 1903 and settled near Raymond. His first wife died and a few years later he married again. He leaves his wife Mary. A son William, three daughters, Barbara, Margaret and Mary. Pallbearers were, Andy Lund, Ben Peterson, Wes. McMullin, Orrin Turner, Ray Depew and Elmo Christensen. Music was supplied by the ward choir directed by Joseph McLean. Emma Dahl at the organ assisted, and the choir sang the hymn, "Sometime We'll Understand," A vocal trio, Mrs. Ruth Salmon, Mrs. Emma Dahl and Gladys Holt sang "Hold Thou My Hand," an organ solo was given by LeRoi Stone entitled "O My Father," and "I Know My Heavenly Father Lives," and the closing number, a vocal solo was by Joseph McLean "Going Home." Opening prayer was offered by Leslie L. Palmer and benediction by Melvin T King. Interment was in Temple Hill Cemetery. (Lethbridge Herald, March 27, 1953)
