Description	:	Funeral services were held Saturday in Augustana Lutheran Church, Underwood, for William Reitman, 87, Underwood, who died August 16 in Prairieview Nursing Home, a resident since August 4th. Rev. Martin Seamon officiated and burial was in the Underwood Cememtary. Mr. Reitman was born June 25, 1885, in Haycreek, Minnesota, to Mr. and Mrs. John Reitman. In the early 1900's he homesteaded south of Benedict in Greatstone Township. He moved to Underwood in 1942 and did carpenter work. Surviving are his wife, the former Pauline Erickson, whom he married November 4, 1909; one son, Harold of Hendricks, Minn.; eight daughters, Mrs. Ole (Lillian) Kinn and Mrs. (Violet) Lester Westman, both of Coleharbor, Mrs. Emil (Evelyn) Blotter of Carrington, Mrs. Clarence (Ethel) Swanson of Washburn, Mrs. Art (Georgine) Gullickson of Minot, Mrs Joe (Luella) Fast Jr. of Turtle Lake, Mrs Emil (Bernice) Schauer of Sheboygan, Wis., and Mrs. Glen (Delores) Schoonover of Fort Rice. He is also survived by two brothers, Fred of Underwood and John of Henning, Minn.; 32 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
